Let Love Grow Wedding Inspiration
With a bevy of beautiful images from photographers Rachel Wells, Stephanie Kopf, and Taylor Rae, this all-natural shoot is abundant with beauty and love. From the gorgeous dress provided by the Gown Boutique of Charleston, to the wonderfully overgrown greenery of the rustic tablescapes, this gallery is sure to inspire any Bride-to-be who likes her love how she likes her food: abundant and organic.
From WildFlowers Inc... I had the pleasure of creating a natural, romantic, Southern meets European look for this styled shoot by Taylor Rae Photography, Rachel Wells Photography, and Stephanie Kopf Photography, held at the magnificent Runnymede Plantation. I was inspired by the natural canopy of centuries old trees with twisting vines and spanish moss nestled along the Ashley River with swaying seagrass and surrounded by meadows and wetlands. There are also amazing ruins on the pristine lawns. We chose primarily seasonal greeneries, fruits and vegetables to accent the color palette of blush, marsala & gold. Flowers included a variety of blush garden roses, Sahara roses, thistles, astrantia, protea, brunia, artichokes, pomegranates, hydrangea & succulents. We also incorporated an abundance of foliages including oleander, privet & viburnum berries, olive branches, festival bush, herbs, pine cone flowers as well as foraged ferns and evergreens. We nestled in pheasant feathers for added depth and texture.
For the Bride, Dayana, we created two bouquets. One was understated with a petite collection of the coordinating florals and foliages to carry around for pictures all day. The second bouquet was as big and bold as our Bride's personality and included marsala colored peonies. It was a true statement piece that was very organically styled with lots of texture and draping greeneries. She was wearing a lovely champagne-colored gown by Bridal Boutique of Charleston and she looked stunning with hair and make-up by Stella Nova West Ashley. The Groom, Josh, wore a boutonniere fashioned from a collection of herbs, berries and mini blooms wrapped in twine.
The head table-scape was so much fun to create and was influenced by not only the incredible venue surroundings but the elegance of the amazing invitation, menu card and paper suite provided by Jenn Morgenstern. The simple white china on gold chargers were the perfect backdrop for the gold napkins with sprigs of herbs and tufts of blooms for the place setting. The setting was perfectly accented with gold flatware on the rich farm tables. The seating enhanced the scene with farm table benches, marvelous driftwood x back chairs and the his and hers Louis head chairs. The rentals were provided by Snyder Events in Charleston, SC. The Moscow Mule mugs hinted of the good time to be had by all. The centerpiece was a long lush full garland style table runner of florals and foliages.
The gorgeous 3-tier cake, designed by Caking Charleston, had a honeycomb pattern, and was decorated with berries, pomegranates, and the tiniest little apples. It was placed on a tall plain stand on the Louis console table to be surrounded by a lavish and ornate collection of fruits and a repetition of the same floral and foliage elements as seen on the main table-scape. Finally, after the delicious cake had been served, the Louis table was transformed to a serving station of red wines, baguettes and of course a fine charcuterie spread. The console was embellished from top to bottom with all the adorning florals, fruits and foliages to create a scrumptious display that was a feast for the eyes as well as the belly! The photographs are a mix of film and digital.
