Posh Grey + Gold Provencal Wedding Inspiration

There’s no question that a Provencal landscape in and of itself is brimming with natural beauty. But when you layer on a charming wedding design, like this one from La Fabrique à Rêves, it’s completely elevated. Brimming with undeniably pretty florals from L’Art Qui Pousse, a gorgeous couple and a Claire Pettibone to boot, Greg Finck‘s captures have us all enchanted. Flip through every one right here.

From La Fabrique à RêvesFrom the height of a rocky spur overlooking the scrublands and vineyards of the Luberon, the citadel and chateau of Ménerbes keep watch over their treasure. Celebrated as one of the most beautiful villages of the Luberon, it has stone ramparts, frontons marked with dates and vaulted cellars that you enter like Ali Baba caves… The little paved streets lead the way to the rich historic heritage of the town, taking you to the doors of old residences and the 17th century bell tower rising over the square. This genuine place full of character has triumphantly stood the test of time and preserved the authentic Provencal spirit. It was an evidence for us to choose Ménerbes as home for our workshop.

Between Gordes and Ménerbes, there is an elegant 18th century residence: a typical country farm restored with respect for the pure tradition of the Provencal “mas”. Nestling among 23 hectares of vines, La Bastide de Marie shines out with a splendour rooted in authenticity. A driveway bordered by cyprus trees, century-old olive trees and enchantingly scented lavender bushes leads up to the house. Naturally we chose La Bastide de Marie and its emblematic surroundings as muse for our styled shoot.

Given the natural elegance and History of the venue, we were able to create a chic and refined wedding atmosphere with a touch of vintage. We mixed up natural colors with a variation of grey’s, and white’s while adding up a touch of gold.

With the participation of the extraordinary florist designer l’Art Qui Pousse, and two incredible models, Maïlys wearing the Florentine gown from Claire Pettibone and Jeoffrey wearing a blue / grey tuxedo created for the occasion by Faubourg Saint Sulpice, we were able to reach our full potential.

Besides, we added up a bit of temperament to the shoot with Google de l’orée des bois d’Astros, a gorgeous Great Dane. Finally we settled our dinner table on a large paved stone terrace overlooking the vineyard. Very special thanks and acknowledgment go to Gabriel Menassier from mg-image for his incredible video, and to Greg Finck Photography for his remarkable talent capturing moments.
