From the beautiful Bride... I had this vision of my wedding from the time I was a little girl. It may have been the numerous times I watched Father Of The Bride, or the countless hopeless romantic movies I stuck in my VHS player and continually pushed rewind on. But that vision never really altered over the years.

It was going to be outside, under the starts with lights, a plethora of flowers, and everyone we loved in one space. And the minute I decided to hire on the talented girls from Dandy & Fine Parties, I had no doubt this vision would come to life.

There is this one distinct beautiful moment I remember on my wedding day, after all in 3 seconds the wedding was done! At that moment I looked up at the sky, with my hands up, this was it, this was the beautiful moment I had been waiting for, and thanks to the most talented, devoted, and passionate team of vendors, that vision that I held so tightly as a little girl, came to life.

When we chose our venue, we wanted one big open space. Imagine the fear in everyone's eyes when we brought them to a flat piece of concrete by the water. For us, it was more then just a flat piece of concrete, for us, it truly represented our love story and everything we wanted in one space.

When you stand outside on that flat piece of concrete, to the left you see the USS Midway, that is where my husband's grandfather was stationed. Then beyond you see Coronado one of our favorite little beach side communities in San Diego. And behind? You see downtown, that is where we met. Imagine once space where you can see almost of all of San Diego. That was our perfect spot.

When I told the gals at Dandy & Fine what I envisioned, it was one big party with all our friends and family in once space. No time constraints, no stress, just a HUGE party! And that it was! From the beautiful handmade, hand-beaded altar to the lush and gorgeous flowers from Modern Bouquet, which all transformed the blank concrete space into the most magical evening I have ever had, the girls at Dandy & Fine and the talented vendors behind them saw much more then just a concrete space -- they saw a little girl's vision for her dream wedding.

We wanted everyone to truly experience our favorite parts of San Diego, so we decided on tacos for the cuisine! We had an acoustic guitar player who turned into a DJ, singing some of our favorite songs and creating the most magical ambiance. Every single detail was handmade with love and passion, and the night truly was one big party celebrating our love.
