Modern Melrose Mansion Wedding Inspiration

I’ve been craving a dose of modern goodness lately and this Melrose Mansion shoot from Sarah Beth Photography and Sapphire Events is just the ticket. The chic pink blooms from Bee’s Wedding & Event Floral Design pair stunningly with the sleek Amsale dress, while every details that follows fits perfectly in place… a gold striped cake from Melissa’s Fine Pastries, lucite chairs, top knot perfection—it’s all waiting right here.

Colors

From Sarah Beth PhotographyTaken at a one on one workshop with Marissa Lambert Photography, and with all of the amazing vendors in this shoot, it was destined to be amazing! We decided to stick with modern, clean and crisp inspirations for this shoot. When choosing a venue, Melrose Mansion was first on the list due to their elegant structure, along with their white walls and huge windows that let in so much natural light! Since we were going to be surrounded by so much white and light colors, we chose to add some color to the flowers to balance it all out.

Our models couldn’t have been a better fit either. Our ‘bride’ Erin Edmiston was actually Mrs. Louisiana. While our male model creates custom mens suites! Although the two only met on the day of the shoot, you wouldn’t be able to tell in the photos.

The stationery set by Heather Grimm may have been one of my favorite aspects about the shoot. The envelopes were black felt that gave an extra luxurious feeling to the set.
