From this moment forward, I’m totally recommending that every wedding have the following: a breathtaking forest-like ceremony, a flower hound and a romance-filled reception, complete with barn dancing. Because this wedding right here? It’s amazing. Think all of the aforementioned planned to perfection by Bridal Bliss, plus a bride and groom who are the literal definition of stunning. See it all captured by Briana Morrison here, and in the sweet film from J&M Media below.

From Briana Morrison… Cally and Guy had one of the most magical wedding venues. They were lucky enough to be married at Cally’s family property just outside of Portland. Rippling Waters Park is truly one of a kind. Cally and Guy said “I do” in front of a Balinese Tea House that they adorned with lush flowers and greenery. The Balinese Tea House sat in a grass meadow surrounded by towering old trees. The ceremony was quiet with little noise but the string quartet; a very peaceful setting for Cally and Guy to say their vows. The wedding party stood in a half circle around them signifying the circle of love supporting their union. Their beloved flower hound, Chowder, voluntarily lay at their feet resting her head on Guy’s shoe.
After the ceremony guests headed down to Gales Creek lookout and enjoyed cocktail hour by the water. Guests were then led up a dirt trail to the reception which opened onto the home’s lawn and garden. This field hosted an amazing marquee for dinner, including the dance floor and band. The tent was filled with flowers, candles and wood cut table numbers. The inspiration for the feel in the tent was elegant, yet natural. Having such a beautiful backdrop, we wanted to keep things very organic so they would blend with the beautiful surroundings.
As the sun set Cally and Guy wowed their guests with an amazing burn in a valley below the dinner tent. The architectural fire burned all night creating a magical glow for the reception. After dancing the night away to the band and crackle of the fire, guests followed a trail lit by candles and sparklers to the dance barn for more late night music and fun. The night was pure perfection and one to remember.
