Butterfly Ballet Boudoir Session

Did y'all take ballet lessons when you were younger? I did for a couple years and my favorite part was most definitely twirling in my tutu (instead of doing what I was supposed to). It's the exact memory that came to mind upon seeing these dreamy images from Archetype. It's that little girl ballet all grown up and transformed into one of the prettiest boudoir shoots you ever did see.

From Archetype... Moody, organic bridal boudoir shoot for a bride with whimsical style. The utterly romantic lace and ethereal tulle skirt set the tone for a dreamy collection of images.

"Let us spend our lives chasing the tiny moments of grace that hide in borrowed breaths, stolen glances, and the last instant before smiling lips come to rest." -Tyler Knot Gregson

DIY insider tip: I made the skirt myself using three layers of silk tulle over two layers of the heavier nylon tulle. Follow online directions to color mix dye for the desired tones of blue. Stitched all layers into a gathered waist bound by a satin bias cut ribbon.
