From K Robinson Photography... A band of talented ladies worked together to bring their vision of an earthy and romantic Colorado forest wedding inspiration to fruition. The idea was to highlight the dramatic beauty of the Grand Mesa National Forest by adding pops of color and whimsy.
Forest-foraged greens and branches were added to the seasonal flowers used to create a draping garland for the moss covered table, boat, and a lush bouquet as well as decoration for the model's hair. Hand written menus, name cards, and invitations added a rustic and romantic feel to the vintage table settings. The vendors pooled together their own styling details including the handmade wooden orbs, and accessories while adding new details like stunning ribbon from Silk and Willow as well as oars borrowed from a shop in Grand Junction and a deliciously deep chocolate cake locally made to add the finishing touch. The models were an actual married couple who sweetly offered to be a part of the shoot.
This inspiration shoot took place on Kelly of 3 Leaf Floral Design's family property set deep in the woods up in the Grand Mesa National Forest.
