Nothing says utter romance more than ivory Chantilly lace, and this stunning boudoir shoot from Erika Parker Photography has plenty of it! Oh and that ring? Swoon! I’d pass on a diamond for a sapphire stunner like that any day. Ready for more? Lose yourself in all the pretty right here.
From Erika Parker… Race and Religious is a beautiful venue in downtown New Orleans. It has so much old world charm, I thought it would be the perfect place for a boudoir shoot. I collaborated with Lara from La Mintz who helped with the styling details, and the model, as well as with Destiny from Poppy and Mint Floral Company for a bouquet for the day.
We were really lucky, the day we decided to shoot was sunny and warm, and just a few hours after we were done, the temperature dropped into the 30’s! I wanted to take advantage of everything Race and Religious had to offer, the guest rooms inside are cozy, but with lots of character. Outside there is ivy, exposed brick and a pool — it’s beautiful! It was the perfect setting for an elegant boudoir shoot.
