People often ask me what the best part of my job is. After all, it’s all pretty awesome so it must be a tough decision. But it’s not. Not in the slightest. The best part is the pictures. The knock you off your feet, make you smile, grab a tissue kind of pictures. So that is what we’re celebrating today. The insanely beautiful moments captured by A Guy + A Girl Photography. With planning by Hold Your Hand Events there is so much more right here...and I dare you to find the prettiest one.
From A Guy + A Girl Photography…. Angela and Arthur’s wedding was a union of two true Manhattan foodies: a renowned New York food writer, and a Food Network Digital VP. She’s from Texas, he’s a Yankee…but he owns real cowboy boots, so it was a match made in heaven. Together, they love many things, from hot dogs to wine shops, oysters to BBQ.
Their laid-back wedding day at Studio 450 on the West side had all the chic-ness of a Manhattan loft wedding (and a rooftop ceremony next to a water tower!), while maintaining a relaxed Southern vibe (many booted gentlemen, specialty mac n cheese, slaw, greens and, of course, classic BBQ!).
Angela and Arthur’s cocktail hour featured a mariachi band, specialty cocktails and delicious bites from Delaney BBQ, followed by fireworks! Did we mention this wedding just happened to be on July 4th?! Halfway through the party, the dance floor moved up one floor to swing sparklers, while watching some of the Nation’s most impressive fireworks displays over the Hudson River. It was magic!
