From Sapphire Celebrations... Colorado is a very desirable location for many couples to plan their destination wedding. Most will make a trip out to the state a handful of times to plan their special day. Chris and Meredith were the exception to this rule. The couple worked with Sapphire Celebrations to plan their Colorado destination wedding without coming to the state until the week of their wedding. Through Pinterest, email, text messages and a lot of phone conversation, their wedding vision came together beautifully.

Meredith was very clear that she wanted a celebration that was classic and elegant. This theme was only highlighted by selecting the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs as the venue for their wedding celebration. Ensuring their guests were taken care of throughout their entire stay, Meredith and Chris added every detail to their Colorado wedding weekend. Guests were welcomed to Colorado for the wedding weekend during a “Family Game Night” welcome reception, encouraged to enjoy the various amenities provided by the resort and even welcomed at the end of the night with a “Hangover Kit” waiting in their rooms.

The classic wedding celebration was held at the Pauline Chapel, celebrating the couple’s faith and the joining of two families. Elegant white floral arrangements decorated the aisle and altar of the church.

Upon arriving at the wedding reception at the Broadmoor Golf Club, guests entered a setting that was both intimate and elegant. White chiffon draped the walls, turning a normal reception space into a beautiful setting. Red and silver centerpieces decorated each table – many of them holding more than 300 roses each. Guests enjoyed the sounds of a piano and string quartet throughout dinner of exquisite cuisine. Guests toasted the couple amongst the specialty lighting and candlelight.

At the end of the night the couple was sent off in a tunnel of sparklers as a classic white Rolls Royce drove them off into their happily ever after.
