This, loves, is what happens when rustic details meet a sweet vintage vibe – a whole lot of awesome. Now take that bundle of awesomeness and add in the chic stylings of Modern Vintage Events, fab rentals from Southern Events and a touch of modern bling and it’s a drop-dead gorgeous Sunday in one, two, three (adorable duo included). From Modern Vintage Events… Emily and Eric are just one of those couples that smile together, laugh together and keep each other on their toes. Emily’s laugh is contagious and Eric knows how to make her laugh. They got married on a hill in TN, in a setting that makes you want to sit a spell and drink sweet tea. Emily loved rustic with a little bling and soft muted colors. We worked with blush, blues and whites and kept everything soft. The day, along with the decor, was light and airy with just the right amount of sunshine. We added some rustic elements like moss letters but tried to keep everything a bit more light and vintage.
The house (where Kathy, the venue owner lives) was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. The reception was in the barn on top of a hill. Kathy has a plethora of vintage furniture and decor that we were able to use. Jessica with SOULflowers put together beautiful arrangements for the guest tables using white, blush, green and a splash of blue. The wind gave a great breeze but kept blowing the candles out through the evening.
The venue was complete with corn hole, a fireplace, a lot of candles and a lot more dancing. Cocktail hour was set around the candlelit pool. Their guests enjoyed dinner on the hilltop and beverages and dancing to The Respectables in the moonlight. Emily and Eric departed with sparklers to embark on their new life together!
