Missouri Outdoor Ombre Wedding
I've expressed my love of winery weddings before, and this next pretty? Well, it's beyond my wildest dreams. From the charming rustic barn, to the swan filled lake, it just doesn't get any better. And with a Bridal party decked out in White Traditions Bridal House every snap from Katharine Roberds Photography is sure to send you in a Pinterest frenzy, right here!
From the beautiful Bride... Last Fall, Devin and I attended a wedding at our favorite winery, Cedar Lake Cellars and we were completely captivated by its simple, rustic charm. From the Big Red Barn to the gorgeous lakes inhabited with white swans, we knew this was the future spot where we would one day tie the knot! This venue had many locations available where the Bride and Groom could exchange vows. We chose the beautiful rocky waterfall where a small lake separates the wedding party from the guests. It was perfect. It was quiet and personal while at the same time still able to share the moment with all of our loved ones.
Our wedding decor was uncomplicated yet elegant. I chose ombre as a theme and with the help of White Traditions Bridal House, my dream went from vision to reality! We chose mason jars and baby’s breath to enhance the natural beauty that surrounded us. Scattered around were pictures of Devin and I from over the years that gave our wedding guests a little insight to our love for each and a chance to better know the real “us.”
As our night was drawing to an end from what seemed to be a day that happened in 10 minutes, we were left with memories that we will cherish over a life time together. Oh, how it seemed I had waited forever for this day. I waited 4 years 5 months and 8 days and it was worth every second!
