Summer Wedding Film at Magna Golf Club
There's nothing better than a sweet, summer wedding in my book. And when that wedding just so happens to be planned to perfection by Melissa Andre Events, you know you're in for a serious treat. Our friends at Images Life Media were on hand to film the whole day, and we've got 5 minutes and 31 seconds of pure bliss below.
From Images Life Media... To many of us, a golf course may seem like a typical summer wedding venue, but when Maxine and Andrew enlisted the energetic and creative planner Melissa Andre, and striking floral design by Nous Design Group - it is anything but ordinary. Their wedding could only be described as the most whimsical, fanciful, summer garden party you have never been to.
What really made this wedding unique were the luxurious design details like vibrant center pieces suspended from the ceiling along with towering paper mache flowers, and a spectacular ceremony arbor, under which Maxine and Andrew exchanged vows surrounded by close friends and family. For the reception, guests found their place settings on a miniature golden Ferris wheel. With delicious touches like ice cream sandwiches from Sweet Sammies and a fabulous "naked" cake by Cake Opera Company; this wedding took our breath away.
Wedding planner, Melissa Andre told us she pulled inspiration from architecture, art, fashion, and some of her favourite things such as Ferris wheels and hot air balloons. To plan an event as memorable as this, she always looks to add an element of whimsy, fantasy, luxury, and romance.
Maxine and Andrew are such a fun-loving, laid-back couple, that it was easy to capture their true love and happiness for each other. Set at the impressive Magna Golf Course, it was essential we use our Helicam to reveal the expanse of the greens and the castle-like club house.
From the Bride... Andrew and I met in high school and a few years in we became "high school sweethearts" although that didn't last past high school, we remained very close friends and have been in each others lives for over 16 years now. We began dating again 4 years ago and when Andrew proposed he took me back to the place in the town where we grew up where we said I love you for the first time many many years ago. He presented me with the most gorgeous custom ring that he designed and I started to cry instantly. It was the easiest yes I have ever uttered.
When we began planning the wedding we agreed that we wanted it to be a fun party and for us that meant a live band, fantastic food and sweets (including a late night Tiny Toms donut truck) and our favorite people. We also really wanted to plan a uniquely beautiful day that was memorable and created a whimsical, romantic feel for all of our guests. Melissa Andre helped make that dream come to life. We loved every minute of planning our day and the day itself was so full of love...we couldn't have asked for anything more.
