From the Stylist, Krystel... Be swept away into this lovely lilac wedding inspiration by Couture Events and Carmen Santorelli. It all began with a vision of Versailles, the glamour and opulence. We believe in going above and beyond on a wedding day to create something truly magical. The invitations, place cards, and menus were all hand painted to perfection. The lace overlay linen and chair backs made for the perfect base to create a whimsical wonderland of pretty! The centerpieces by Blush Botanicals dripping in crystals and orchids are to die for and made the room glisten and glow. We used golden pairs at each place setting as a unique detail as the french love their fruits. Last but not least we added accents of and romantic candle light!
The location was the Hotel Del Coronado in their ballroom on the beach in San Diego and, while it was far from Paris, we had no problem creating the Parisian look. The bride held a bouquet of lilacs (her favorite flower) and the groom was able to have his dream come true dessert bar, complete with four fabulous flavors of cake and lavender, lilac, and french vanilla bean macarons. Yum!
