With spring in the air, these diehard University of Georgia fans returned to their collegiate roots (they got married in the UGA Chapel!) for this colorful, family-filled wedding in Athens. While the Groom and his groomsmen rollicked around the campus, the Bride looked stunning in crystal-embellished Maggie Sottero, offset by the bridesmaids’ coral Bari Jay gowns, with Brita Photography capturing all the pretty for us to share with you, here!
From Brita Photography… Morgan and Drew are loyal University of Georgia fans and alumni so it only made sense that their wedding would be in Athens, GA! When I arrived at the Georgia Gameday Center where all the bridesmaids were getting ready, I was greeted with big smiles and warm hugs. I couldn’t wait to get started! All of her bridal details were stunning: Her teal wedding invitations, coral wedding shoes and coral bridesmaids dress, and beautiful teal, ivory and coral bouquets (with peonies – my favorite!). Drew wrote the sweetest note for his bride inside the ring box, too: “Because you are my best friend.” It just melts your heart!
Morgan and Drew’s ceremony was at the gorgeous white Chapel on North Campus and their reception was held at the UGA Classic Center. We took the shuttle bus all around campus and stopped at several important places to them: North campus, the UGA stadium, the grand staircase, Magnolia’s, and behind the Chapel (to ring the bell)!
It was the perfect day to get married. Spring was in the air and we were able to capture so many beautiful pictures and moments!
