A Greg Finck wedding never disappoints, but when you add the floral talents of Laetitia C. to the equation? You, my dear, have got Provence nuptial perfection right at your fingertips. Designed with a natural, beautifully organic aesthetic, it’s a day that plays off its South of France setting and the results are a destination wedding done so, so right.
From Greg Finck Photography…Le Mas de la Rose is a hidden gem in the heart of Provence, surrounded by olive groves and lavender fields. That is in that elegant though intimate typical Provence venue that Fabienne and Carlo had decided to tie the knot. Fabienne is from Switzerland and Carlo from the US, but they had decided to organize a destination wedding by themselves in the South of France. To delight their guests and enjoy the Provence easy lifestyle.
Stationery had been designed by the groom’s brother, and were in a variation of green and grey, which has been the color palette during the whole day. Laetitia C., who is now a friend, has once more done her magic on floral design. Fantastic flowers arrangements were everywhere, from the ceremony to the reception, and were all beautifully designed in a soft green color palette. The bouquets were elegant but not too strict, to reflect the organic and natural side of the region.
The ceremony has probably been one of the most emotional I’ve had the occasion to live this year. The officiant was one of the groom’s best friend and it was difficult not to drop a tear when Fabienne and Carlo exchanged their vows, in the presence of Max, Carlo’s son.
The cocktail was yummy with typical Provence food, including ‘tapenade’ (black olive paste) and regional vegetables, as Le Mas de la Rose grows its own vegetables in the garden. Dinner was similar with amazing organic Provence food and fine wine. The party last until the end of the night, when the bride and groom surprised their guests with an ice cream cart.
