From the beautiful Bride... Top 3 moments from the wedding were the first look, seeing the reception space for the first time and the party.

Because I am such an emotional person, I wanted to be able have this quiet moment between Simon and I before the chaos set in. It was important to me that we just take a moment and breathe together, so that when we got to the ceremony we could just enjoy the ride. This way we could have a couple of laughs together (and maybe a couple of tears), and mostly just enjoy the day that we had waited on for so long and put so much work into.

When I left on Friday night, the girls hadn't finished with the table cloths or chair covers and to go from that to this absolutely amazing room was incredible. I just remember feeling amazed that Stacey could take my ideas and transform them into my dream space and that something so incredibly beautiful was for Simon and I was almost overwhelming.

Being able to share such an amazing day with our friends and family was more than I could have hoped for. It was so important to us that everyone was able to enjoy the day, and that it was a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Whether it was people sitting out on the patio enjoying the weather, sitting inside visiting with family and friends, or dancing the night away, everyone had fun, which made the day a huge success.

The arbor at the ceremony, my Dad and my brother built the arbor with birch from the property I grew up on and then Stacey and Janine made it beautiful. From the chandelier to the florals to the antlers, it was the perfect backdrop to an amazing ceremony.

The antlers that were scattered throughout the ceremony and reception space. It all started with a photo shoot that I fell in love with that Stacey and Janine had done with an antler base for a bouquet, and antlers mixed into an amazing chandelier. As we talked about Simon and how he is a hunter and that we both love spending time outdoors and camping it just evolved into this amazing décor element. The antlers were supplied by Janine and a very good friend, and they just became this absolutely perfect element to our day, that we managed to keep as a surprise for Simon.

The amazing florals by FaBLOOMosity. Janine and her crew blew me away with their beautiful work. I wanted to have big, bold flowers with lots of colour and they delivered. And they were so amazing to work with, I didn't have any interactions with them that didn't leave me smiling and excited to see the wedding day.

Simon and I put together the mason jars that served as both the glasses for the evening and as our favors. I purchased the chalkboard labels off of Etsy, Simon put on the labels and I wrote out the names. It made for less waste because there was no plastic, plus everyone had a personalized touch.

The dessert table. Because I love to cook, bake and entertain, it was so important to me that the food was amazing, and I knew that dessert had to be homemade. All of the desserts were made by myself, my aunt, my mother-in-law and a friend of mine. I wanted it to taste like Sunday dinner, and going by the way our guests inhaled the goodies we made, it was a success.

My maid of honor made the sign that the flower girls carried. Tiffany is just so crafty and artistic that there was no way I couldn't have her help.
