Considering my fiancé has already started checking out unique ring options, this Groom’s bone ring caught my eye right away. But it wasn’t the only detail of this celebration that stood out, from the rustic DIY designs to one precious baby girl. This Bride hoped to create a “homemade country living” vibe and she achieved that goal to a tee, with Two Birds Photography capturing every bit. See more treats here!
From Two Birds Photography… Rhian and Cameron had a beautiful early autumn day for their wedding at the Emerson Creek Pottery and Tea Room. Their rustic theme was accentuated with the perfect amount of glamour and sweetness. Their wedding colors of ivory, navy and gray were beautifully complimented by their choice of flowers. We loved the personal touches they added throughout their day, and who can resist a dapper groom with a bolo tie and a bone ring?
Rhian and Cameron’s short, sweet and heartfelt ceremony was held outside and we simply adored the wagon that their beautiful one year old daughter was wheeled in with!
Their love story that they shared with us… One random fall weeknight, Rhian found herself reluctantly attending a college party with a friend. It was there that she noticed Cameron, similarly unenthusiastic about the night; dressed to the nines in sweatpants and a beanie. Cameron made no hesitation to approach her. Although Cam caught Rhian’s attention right away, she had already had enough for the night and told Cameron “I’ll be right back,” never to return.
As the days passed, Rhian found herself thinking about Cam constantly – so much so that she decided to pass her number along to a mutual friend, hoping it would make it’s way to Cam and he would call. As fate would have it, Cam got the message and contacted Rhian – but neither of them had any idea of the love story that would come as a result.
At first Rhian’s interest in Cam was based upon her finding him to be “extremely good looking” and Cam struggled to pull his attention away from Rhian’s body. Though as time went on, a much deeper bond began to develop. Cameron put Rhian at ease, making her laugh constantly and feel instantly comfortable around him. The love between these two cannot be denied. When Rhian looks at Cam, you can see the strongest gaze of admiration and respect in her eyes. When Cam looks at Rhian, you see the stare of a man who would do anything to make her smile, to protect her, and to give her the world.
Cam looks to the future and reflects on how far the two have come; “Today we have a beautiful family. Everyday she shows me why I fell in love with her by being an amazing mom and the perfect partner in this crazy world.” Rhian has always thought of Cam as her dream come true; “No matter what, he has always stuck by my side through the good, the bad and the ugly. He is the only person I have ever truly loved.”
From the Bride… Our wedding was a perfect day filled with all of our closest friends and family. We wanted our wedding to be a huge party that everyone could have fun at. It was a celebration of the love we have for each other. Everything from the table numbers to table florals, signs and mason jars were all handmade by myself and with the help of friends and family. We wanted our day to revolve around the simplicity of ” homemade country living.” Everything from the food to dessert was planned to have a loving homey feel to it. We wanted our “s’more love” bar to be something all of our guests could enjoy and get creative with what flavors they liked.
It is hard to choose just one moment as our favorite moment of the day. Between watching our beautiful daughter walk down the aisle to saying yes to a lifetime of happiness and dancing the night away… the entire day was filled with our favorite moments with our favorite people… and every day since has been a blessing.
The first look was also special to the both of us because it was “our” moment. It was a special moment in time that was just ours to enjoy each other and not having to share that with anyone was truly special to both of us.
