From Star Light FilmsBryon proposed to Bri on the breath taking Oregon Coast, capturing every detail. His story starts long before he gets down on one knee and lasts an entire year after she said “yes”. Bri was under the impression that SLF was on scene for that windy day at the beach only to capture the photos for her surprise proposal. Little did she know that while one camera was getting photos, the other was filming everything.

Bryon came to us wanting something different. Wanting something to completely sweep her off of her feet. Something no one has ever done before. We politely obliged.

We accompanied him, with the mic hot and equipment in hand, as he entered her Grandfather’s jewelry store. Bryon browsed a few rings before coming back to the one meant for Bri. Leaving Grandpa with a warm hug, he set off to scout Pacific City for the proposal location. Bri thought he was hiking with friends.

On the drive over, Bryon told us about why he was doing this. Why it was so important for him to create something so meaningful. It wasn’t because he wanted the recognition or attention, it was so that together, as a family, they could have a moment to physically revisit and look back on.

There was one last thing that was necessary before the big proposal day. Bryon needed the blessing from Bri’s father. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as these two men sat down in a moment of total acceptance of Bryon’s love for Bri.

All of these events happened unbeknownst and unseen by Bri, but all of them artistically captured by SLF. The footage was then crafted into a beautiful, emotional piece. Bri had absolutely no knowledge that anything had been captured on film until exactly one year after the day he proposed. Bryon simply said, “I have a surprise for you”, blindfolded her, and drove her to a remote location for the surprise screening of the happiest day of her life (thus far).
