From the Bride… Our wedding weekend was pure magic. We chose to get married at my family’s house on the Frio River in Texas, which to us was a no-brainer. It is such a meaningful and special place to us in a uniquely beautiful setting. With my family being from Texas and Chase’s from Washington, we wanted our wedding to also be a time where our families could get to know each other better. We agreed we wouldn’t let anything get out of hand and simply have fun with whatever problems arose the day of. No fussing with things that we knew would ultimately not matter to us. With that, we tried to keep things simple and beautiful. The setting didn’t need much aid in looking gorgeous, so we picked some bright pops of flowers, mixed in some succulents and threw in some gold accents here and there. Everything was so us, from Chase’s uncle performing the ceremony, my sister’s prank toast, and our pizza cake. It was perfect.
