Autumn Engagement Session

NYC in the fall is the sort of place that is just meant to be photographed.  So add an adorable, in love duo, a handful of yummy treats and a day frolicking around some amazing backdrops and the result is a whole lot of e-session pretty.  And it’s just how a New York City engagement shoot should be.  See it all captured by Jasmine Lee in the full gallery.

From The Bride… Perry and I knew that we wanted our engagement pictures to be intimate and natural, capturing us in places where we were comfortable and that meant a lot to us.

When we moved to Manhattan from San Francisco a few years ago, we were immediately drawn to our apartment in the beautiful Upper West Side. The gorgeous brownstones, young families, and proximity to Central Park made it feel like home to us and it was an easy decision to use it as a backdrop for our engagement session. As a lover of food, I also wanted to incorporate our favorite foods into the day. Pastries from Dominique Ansel and waffles from Wafels and Dinges are some of our favorite desserts in the city and served well as a mid-session snack. Lastly, Central Park holds a special place in our hearts because we got engaged there last summer during a breakfast picnic in the park. It has locations that are so iconic and recognizable, but also has hidden spots that are so quiet and intimate that it made for the perfect setting for the last part of our session.

We cannot thank Jasmine enough for the amazing engagement pictures that she took that so perfectly captured our love for each other and for our neighborhood and we cannot wait for the wedding!
