Elegant Winter Paris Elopement

This elopement has me wrapped around it's little finger... Paris, the shoes, the ah-mazing Lazaro dress, the Bride's darling curls by Sanni Sorma and the way these two gaze at each other—perfect, no? Fete In France killed it with their spectacular planning skills, while Le Secret D'Audrey caught every moment so beautifully as she does. This gallery was meant for lovers.

From the Bride... Christmas was not always a happy time in my life - my mother passed away days before Christmas in 2005 & I found the time surrounding the holidays very difficult, I really wanted to change the way I felt & create a happy memory so a Christmas wedding it was. After becoming engaged in New Zealand I began to lay plans for our wedding. During an early morning snow boarding run on the mountain I found a small charm in the snow - an Eiffel tower, all the inspiration I needed.

Paris seemed impossible at first, however we were helped throughout by our Wedding planner, Fete in France - a not so difficult task with the aid of technology. Nancy shaped our special day with elegance and class I am forever grateful for the finishing touches she applied.

Our Catholic mass & ceremony was everything we had hoped; we were married by Father McCarthy at the La Madeleine Paris Church. The Organist played my Grand parents favourite hymn on the grand organ; hearing it echoing throughout the 150 metre Church is something we will never forget.

I wore a Lazaro bridal gown and the groom wore Joe Black, shoes by Emmy London & rings by Ellissi, Australia. Our photos by Audrey captured the essence of our perfect day & remain precious reminders of the day that we continually relive & especially cherish.

From the Fete In France... We love planning elopements and it was such a treat to work with Sarah and Bayden. Sarah had a very precise idea of what she wanted for her day including finding a setting for photos which could rival the Château de Versailles Hall of Mirrors! The entire day came together perfectly - gorgeous weather, a touching ceremony, a skilled private chef, a charming sweetheart table with opulent decor and of course, a ruffly wedding cake. A big thank you to Le Secret d'Audrey for capturing the day so beautifully. It was an immense pleasure to orchestrate all of the elements and then see how happy the couple was on the day!
