Sunny San Ysidro Ranch Brunch Wedding
This might be the sweetest brunch wedding I've ever seen. The Bride's gorgeously textured top knot, the sunrise yellow and orange blooms and the rustic vibe at San Ysidro Ranch make up the perfect combo of pretty. Coordinated by Twine Events, the day went off without a hitch and with Emily Blake behind the lens, you can soak up every bit right here.
From the beautiful Bride...John and I met when my best friend shamelessly propositioned him on my behalf at a sports bar in Brentwood, CA (without my knowledge of course!). I am eternally grateful to my brazen BFF, Erika, who knows me well enough to know when my future husband is sitting across the bar from me. One year later, John proposed on a beautiful rickety bridge during a muddy morning hike in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Soon thereafter, following months of my begging and prodding, John relocated his life and legal practice to join me in Orange County, CA. Our wedding vision was simple – gathering an intimate few to celebrate our union over a spectacular meal in a magical setting.
A Sunday morning brunch wedding at the extraordinary San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, CA couldn’t have been more fitting. The Ranch is infinitely majestic – with its lush garden grounds, rustic cozy hillside cabins and impeccable service. The ceremony, hosted by our very own cupid, Miss Erika herself, took place on the upper lawn overlooking the lily pond. The heartfelt exchange of our vows, so personal and meaningful, was my favorite moment of the day, and one I will never forget. Following the ceremony, guests were invited to celebrate with mimosas and bloody marys on the lower lawn before the start of brunch. Brunch took the form of three courses – A grilled asparagus salad with wild mushrooms, stuffed organic chicken breast atop butternut squash risotto, and an array of individual mini pies for dessert. Glasses were repeatedly raised throughout the meal as guests toasted with personal anecdotes and wished us a lifetime of happiness. I couldn’t have asked for more.
