Greek New York City Wedding at Gotham Hall

From The Bride...We first met as teenagers through mutual friends of our parents. Years later we reconnected when we ended up at the same college and later medical school. What started as a friendship led to a romantic relationship that continued to grow over the following years. We both felt that from the first time we met, we were meant to eventually end up together!
Knowing that I had studied abroad in Paris and had fallen in love with the “City of Lights”, Jason planned a surprise long weekend trip for us to return there together. I didn't even know where we were going until a few hours before the plane departed! On our first night in Paris, we decided to take a leisurely walk after dinner. We found ourselves walking past a spot along the Seine River with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower in the background. It was raining and the ground was soaking wet but next thing I know, Jason is down on one knee with a ring in his hand! At that exact (unplanned) moment the Eiffel Tower lit up with sparkling lights! It was like something out of a movie. I, of course, said yes.
Our wedding day was as magical as the proposal. We had so much fun planning every detail over the course of a year with an incredible wedding planner and team. I always knew I wanted to be a June bride so the next logical step was to incorporate all the beautiful colors and flowers of June into our theme. We decided to go with blues and purples, as well as white and off-white. We incorporated silver for a touch of sparkle. Our church and reception hall were so beautiful and provided a stunning backdrop. We hoped for the decor to be elegant while still feeling fun and relaxed and I think we accomplished that! Some of our favorite elements of the wedding were our “Me We” logo, our photo booth, the wedding cake, and our amazing after party! All of our guests were raving about the incredible food, the extremely talented musicians and the beautiful decor. If we could go back in time, we wouldn't change a thing. Our wedding was truly everything we had dreamed of.
