From the beautiful Bride... My husband Erik and I were married near my family's house in Jackson Hole at Moose Creek Ranch, where both the ceremony + reception took place, and where most of our friends stayed for a long weekend. Teton Valley is an incredibly meaningful place for me as I had been traveling there for ski and hiking adventures for the past 20 years. It's an area that many of my extended friends and family had never visited, but for me contained hundreds of memories, and represented a place of seclusion and serenity. I had always dreamed of sharing this special place with my loved ones, and bringing people out of their everyday lives for my wedding day.

If there was a theme for our wedding weekend, it was to share our love of the outdoors and adventure. The stunning landscapes were naturally beautiful, so we were able to focus on more experiential details such as group hikes, fishing, BBQs, lawn games, yummy cocktails and a major barn dance party that was oh so glam. We also wrote a personalized note to every guest that he/she received at the place setting.

The decor, overseen by mStarr event design, was absolutely perfect: classy, simple and stunning. We brought in leather and metallic accents- my favorite was our leather luggage tag gifts that also served as escort cards!

My two favorite moments were our first look when we my husband and I drove separately up to the top of a mountain with the entire Teton Valley behind us. The peacefulness I felt in the wilderness, and in his arms, was unforgettable. Second was my outfit change: white leather and gold dance booties that I broke out when the DJ launched into our 90s Hip Hop hour during our barn dance party!

From Mstarr Event Design... As the founder of Brideside, an online bridesmaid resource, Nicole knew enough about the wedding industry to know what she wanted, and didn’t want! Bringing in the mStarr team from Boston, where the couple resides, we were super excited to visit this part of the country and weave in the natural + personal elements so cherished by Nicole + Erik. The wedding was designed with what could be considered two different visions...the ceremony + dinner really focusing on the ridiculously beautiful surroundings and a super glam dance party in the barn... but they played off each other perfectly, and walking out of the barn under a clear black sky full of stars, it was exactly as we envisioned it. while it’s hard to top those mountain views and wildflowers around the property, the highlights were handmade leather “escort card” luggage tags and table signs with handwritten calligraphy, and a personal favorite was the disco ball in the barn decked out in cascading greenery...perfectly executed by Flowers by Chloe.
