I just moved to Oregon (yay!) and apparently there are little spots of rustic goodness I didn’t even know existed. Like Brasada Ranch, a central Oregon charmer perfect for a romantic, love-filled affair. Think pastel hues, DIY details (hello gorgeous florals + cake) and Jenny Yoo bridesmaid frocks that are all sorts of beautiful. See it all captured stunningly by Marina Koslow right here.
From Marina Koslow Photography… Lotos and Kevin married on a beautiful sun-filled summer day at Brasada Ranch, a true hideaway spot in Central Oregon. Their event was a mix of classy and romantic details with many DIY elements – flowers were done by the one of the bridesmaids and could not have complemented the girls’ dresses better. The cake that was made by a bride’s friend was a passion fruit ice cream and chocolate chiffon flavor and looked absolutely stunning. The cute place cards and seating map were crafted by the groom. The day ended with a spectacular sunset and dancing into the night.
From Lotos and Kevin… Brasada Ranch became the perfect back drop for our wedding. Majority of our guests were family from out side of the United States, making our wedding more of a destination wedding, and we wanted to show them the beauty of Oregon. The amazing setting and delicious food cooked by Brasada Ranch created an unforgettable and intimate atmosphere.
We also wanted our wedding to reflect who we are, and we tried to put as many personal touches as possible into the wedding. As designers, it was important to us to infuse our design aesthetic as much as possible. We drew and created custom laser cut wood center pieces and painted vases to go with our flowers. The wood center pieces acted as our table numbers, and also had maps engraved on the front of cities that were of significance to us, such as where we first met or our first trip together. The groom designed and hand-cut all of the place cards. Our seating map was a nod to our architectural education. Our flowers were arranged by one of the bridesmaids, and one of our good friends made two ice cream cake for us as our wedding cake (because we love ice cream so much!) In the end, it truly took a village to put everything together! We want to thank all of our family and friends for making the trip!
