I can’t believe I’m saying this but… I’ve fallen in love with winter, all due to this gorgeous engagement shoot from Kim James. With the juxtaposition of the bride-to-be’s Vera Wang (super chic) dress, and her Hunter boots and wool blankets, I’ve basically stepped into my winter dream scene. I’ll be soaking up every single pic since spring is still far away and I’m not ready to let go of this love affair just yet.
From Kim James Photography… Nori and Garet are originally from Texas and they are currently living in LA. They had scheduled a winter vacation to Whistler, British Columbia, Canada and decided it would be great to have their engagement photos taken at a cool destination. The snow and mountains and these two equals one of my all-time favorite engagement sessions. Whistler is a lot colder than LA, but they braved the freezing weather in order to get the shots. Nori wore a stunning Vera Wang dress paired with Hunter Boots and she looked absolutely adorable. It started snowing half way through our session which made for some magical winter images. They are planning a summer wedding back in their home state of Texas.
