There may be a certain movie hitting the big screens as we speak, but this photo shoot, inspired by this scandalous movie’s title, is decidedly more tame. But tame doesn’t mean boring, as D’Arcy Benincosa captured every stunning shade of gray and silver and the very real love between one newly married couple. This is one seductive shoot we can promise you’ll enjoy without any risk of blushing involved.
From D’Arcy Benincosa… This shoot was inspired by the real wedding between this beautiful couple! We loved the colors and details and decided to use their true love story as a background for our “50 Shades of Winter Gray” shoot!
From The Bride… Mike and I were destined for each other. Our mom’s were friends during high school in Cleveland, Ohio. My mom met my father while he was going to school there and moved to Utah to be with him. Mike’s parents moved here a few years later and our parents would get together from time to time. We have pictures of he and I on his first birthday. As time went on our parents lost touch. Years later, at a New Year’s Eve party, we met and started dating. By our third date we figured out that we had played together as children!
Living in Utah we love the mountains and love Park City! Our wedding (and this shoot) was simple and elegant with shades of greys, white florals, and jewelry from where I work at O. C. Tanner (where our rings were designed).
