We’re hours away from the official day o’ love, and this heart-themed affair is just the ticket to get the party started. Equal parts whimsical modern, it’s a lovefest brought to life by Charmed Events Group, with color happy florals from Nixon Tran of Michael Daigian Design. From Charmed Events Group…Jenny and Ansony met and fell in love in the city of San Francisco and they wanted to have a wedding that reflected their love story. They chose the City View Metreon as their venue as it has sweeping views of the city and was the perfect modern, blank slate for creating their dream wedding. Because the City View Metreon is such a large space, we brought in lots of draping to create the ambience of separate spaces for guests to enjoy. We used a bright and cheerful color palette of sherbert and melon hues as the foundation for the design elements that we brought into their wedding. All the details of their wedding incorporated these colors to create a color explosion if you will! Another strong motif of Jenny and Ansony’s wedding was in featuring their favorite love quotes.
The ceremony took place on the terrace of the City View Metreon with panoramic views of San Francisco. The wedding party entered into the ceremony space through huge panels of live, succulent walls which made the space very modern and chic. For cocktail hour, we created a gallery patterned wall with one of the couples’ favorite quotes. Guests found their names on the inverted chevron pattern that we created. Guests were invited to leave their names on painted hearts to create an art piece for the couple as a keepsake.
The reception space was grandiose with draped entrances and light teal linens that popped against their modern white chairs with blush pink cushions. Guests sat down to place settings that featured menus wrapped with an infiniti charm that paid homage to how the couple felt for one another. Each table had a custom made table number in the shape of a gold arrow to pay homage to San Francisco and the iconic “Cupid’s Span” arrow on the Embarcardero. Each table also featured a different love quote as part of the couple’s love quotes collection. We custom created a 3D geometric backdrop for the couple’s sweetheart table that added punch and whimsy to finish off the event space.
Dancing and the Dessert Bar was featured in a separate draped off area of the City View Metreon. We displayed another one of the couple’s favorite love quotes as the backdrop to the dessert bar and created custom candy favors that were color blocked in the couple’s color palette for guests to enjoy.
