Valentine’s Day is my annual excuse to be as girly as possible. To fill our home with blooms galore and wear something a little extra pink and sparkly. I’m starting the party a bit early with Anna Delores and team, as I gaze at this gallery of gorgeous. It’s slightly enchanted, sweetly vintage and plays out like a fairytale, from Glitz‘s overall design to Pretty Vintage Rentals‘ lovelies and everything in between.
From the Planners of Glitz Event Design Studio…A romantic color palette, antique details, and a breathtakingly detailed blush bridal gown- these were just some of the elements behind our Garden Fairytale wedding inspiration. Hartley Botanica provided a beautiful setting that fully encompassed our vision, and was complete with arbor lined pathways, statuettes, and abundant greenery. The seriously pretty invitation set by Umama is the perfect opening to this whimsical soiree.
For the tablescape we wanted to showcase a dreamy and romantic look. We combined antique
details and mixed soft patterns and textures with unique rentals from Pretty Vintage Table to
create a fairytale-like scene. The ascot wood table and mix of tapestry and velvet chairs was
softened by blush tone La Tavola Linens. For the table settings we paired blush depression
glassware, gold flatware, mix-matched china, and crystal salt cellars at each setting. To draw
further into the antique inspiration we incorporated vintage oil lanterns, gold taper candlesticks
with blush candles and cloches with floral accents along either side of the centerpiece. The
gold mirrored table set the stage for the noteworthy Happily Ever After cake provided by Frost
it Cakery.
The chemistry between our real couple was undeniable. The bride looked stunning adorned in
elegant BHLDN bridal accessories and a detailed blush Monique Lhuillier bridal gown provided
by Nearly Newlywed. The enchanting look was completed with a braid inspired ponytail and
ethereal makeup done by Crystal Huber Makeup. The groom wore a floral Grunion Run tie that
paired handsomely with the boutonnière. The florals by Knot Just Flowers showcased a rich
palette of reds, pink, and greens, with a feature of whimsical details.
Our favorite detail of the day was a trio of greenery wrapped skeleton lamp shades acting as a
chandelier. The always amazing Emily, of Anna Delores Photography, captured all of the beauty.
