When it comes to meaningful details, this wedding reigns king. Case in point? The bride’s “something blue” bouquet made even more beautiful by Lux Events And Design. She had the bride’s family and fiance write one word to describe her, and had each sentiment embroidered on blue silk ribbons. It’s about the coolest accessory a bride could ever ask for, and you can see even more amazing ideas captured by Megan Welker.

From The Bride… Where do I begin? There were so many special details and moments of the day. Let’s start with details. One of my favorite details was my bouquet. My wedding planner surprised me with my “something blue”. She had secretly asked my family and Ryan for one word that described me. She then took those special words from each of the special people in my life and had them embroidered on to hand cut silk ribbons. When she presented it to me, I was filled with tears and joy. It was such a special touch.
A few other details that I just loved was the guest place card display. The winery where we were married made olive oil and each guest received a bottle as there place card. Each bottle was placed in a small linen bag and adorned with a handwritten tag and displayed on a vintage dresser and arch. Each guest got to take home a part of the wineries bounty of olive trees. One of the moments that felt special was being surrounded by my beautiful bridesmaids. Each and everyone of them are so important to me and I am forever grateful for their love and support they show me.
Another favorite moment of the day is when the photographer took Ryan and I out to the middle of the vineyard at sunset. She wanted to snap some pictures of just the two of us surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the winery. Being in the middle of the vineyard gave us a minute to take in the beautiful day and everything that was surrounding us, friends family, and nature!
