Romantic Winter Wedding Inspiration
I'm not the biggest fan of winter, I'll be the first to admit that. But this shoot by Nikki Closser, full of romance and beauty, just may change my mind. From the beautiful blush stone and gown, to a cake I'd like for my own upcoming nuptials, I'm dreaming of kisses atop a veil of newly fallen snow. Whether you're a snow bunny or spend all your ski time in the lodge instead, these pics aren't to be missed.
From Nikki Closser Photography... I had been wanting so badly to do a photo shoot in the snow, so when I heard there was going to be a huge snowfall up in the mountains, I jumped at the opportunity. I decided to put together a snowy wedding inspiration shoot and we lucked out with the most perfect day at Snoqualmie Pass. The scenery with the mountains and fresh, bright snow was breathtaking!
To me, the snow can be so dreamy and I wanted the shoot to have that same dreamy feel. I loved incorporating deep maroon with the softness of the blush Reem Acra that beautiful Suz wore. I made the belt from velvet ribbon and it added a beautiful contrast to the white snow. I then added in some gold accents to the table scape by DIY'ing gold flatware and plates. The winter themed flowers looked just stunning against the snow and we brought in the blush color again with soft roses and a ring with a blush colored stone.
There is something so peaceful about being in the mountains after a snowfall. We were so happy to be there and to be surrounded by such natural beauty. To add in some of our own beautiful touches, and to have a couple to photograph who are so in love, made this photo shoot that much more special!
