Rustic Chic Sonoma County Winery Wedding
If I were to attend this alfresco affair, I would never leave. For starters, it's at Arista Winery (hello dream venue) and with birchwood and mercury glass accents, I'm bound to pin every. single. image. With vendors like Off the Beaten Path Weddings, Nicollette Mollett, NEVE BROS. INC. and onelove photography the entire day is downright dreamy.
From the beautiful Bride... I loved our combination of birchwood, mercury glass and soft pink and peach tones. It created a warm and chic atmosphere. I also wanted to incorporate something from Australia where Simon is from, so I especially loved the eucalyptus leaves.
I wanted our wedding to focus on everything Simon and I have shared with our friends and family for the past 7 years: warmth and love of an intimate and fun dinner party, great food, great wine, and wonderful company.
Mary Ellen's Pinterest account and Style Me Pretty definitely gave me inspiration. I've always had a vision of how I wanted my wedding to look and I know Mary Ellen understood the "look and feel" I wanted and created it spectacularly!
The highlight of our wedding day was experiencing the overwhelming feeling of all of our friends and family gathered to celebrate the love and commitment Simon and I have for one other. My advice is don't sweat the small things! Have a vision of what you're after, but not an exact replica. It will save you time and stress and everything will look beautiful regardless.
