If you were to ask me what my daydreams looked like, I’d instantly show you this exact shoot from Kayla Barker. Overflowing with heavenly blush blooms by The Southern Table and copper accented Southern Fried Paper, it’s metallic minded pastel perfection. So if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be in this gallery for the rest of time.
From Maxine of The Southern Table… For this inspirational shoot, we wanted to create a soft, feminine garden feel. The historic Aldredge House was the perfect setting to put together this team of great vendors. We chose to feature romantic tones of blush, whites, and peaches, paired with classic white marble and copper elements. Southern Fried Paper’s gorgeously refined invitation suite with copper letterpress set the tone for an elegant evening.
Our stunning model, Gabrielle, was glowing with upswept hair and natural makeup by Ladonna Stein, and so ethereal in BHLDN’s Vivienne gown. This Catherine Deane dress, which is the most delicate shade of pale grey, was a perfect compliment to the beautiful white and grey marble vases in the table scape. Here, we chose soft garden roses, dahlias, ranunculus, anemones and astilbe to pop against classic white linens and modern ghost chairs.
Overall, we think the effect create a light and airy look and a sense of subtle sophistication. The finishing touch was the gorgeous hexagon cake with classic white fondant by Layered Bake Shop, displayed on a white marble stand. Kayla Barker captured all the magic perfectly and will definitely inspire brides with her stunning images.
