Elegant Oceanside Maui Wedding

Nothing says paradise quite like an oceanside affair, and this seaside celebration is all the more meaningful with a focus on family. Surrounded by blooming bougainvillea and a gentle sea breeze, a global guestbook united and the beauty that ensued is simply stare-worthy. From Wendy Laurel Photography... Leanne and Richard wanted a really gorgeous wedding that all their friends and family could attend, but Leanne is from Canada and Richard is from Australia. So having the wedding at either one of their hometowns meant alot of traveling for the other family. They had the bright idea of meeting in the middle and planning a gorgeous destination wedding in Hawaii. That way both sides of the family could easily travel and who doesn't want an excuse to visit Maui?

The focus was on family (the couple's young son attended and was a ringbearer) and friends. The couple planned some activities for the guests to attend during the week and the bride had her bridal shower on Maui as well. They lucked out with gorgeous clear weather and a golden sunset at the point at Kapalua Bay.
