Rustic Fall Wedding at Scribe Winery
The Sonoma winery immediately makes this wedding a winner for me, but add in ivory peonies and a tree swing for the bride, and be still my blogger heart. Amy Kaneko created a masterpiece, with each detail outshining the next, and Gia Canali was there to capture it all. It's five o'clock somewhere so let's start the weekend early and indulge in the beauty of these gorgeous "I do's" right this way!
From Amy Kaneko and Gia Canali... Brooke Johansen of Mason Stanley Jewelry and David Taylor (of iTunes) held a casual but chic wedding at one of their favorite wineries in Sonoma. The groom's father officiated the intimate ceremony, which included their French bulldog Olivia, and featured readings by both mothers.
After the ceremony, guests walked up to a grassy knoll overlooking rolling vineyards. The extended cocktail hour was the musical highlight of the day and featured a lively alternative bluegrass band, The Defibulators, that the couple couldn't wait to share with their guests, a raw oyster bar, and lawn games on the hillside. Dinner was a family-style feast and took place nearby among a grove of trees and bistro lights. After the sun set, a DJ kicked off dancing and guests cozied up around fire pits.
