This wedding is gorgeous. Plain and simple. The florals from Love ‘n Fresh nearly knocked my socks off, and the images from Emily Wren are so beautiful I could cry. It’s romantic and elegant, yet comfy and intimate – leaving us with a wedding that is layered in love and so much pretty I can barely contain my excitement. See more of this beautiful day here.
I had tried on many dresses and initially thought I wanted something lace and fit and flare- very different from what I decided on in the end. When I put on the Watters dress it just felt so fresh and comfortable and perfect for the venue with its floral pattern. And it had pockets! The dream. I got ready at my childhood home in the suburbs and Brendan and his groomsmen prepped at the Sofitel Hotel in downtown Philadelphia.
Our amazing flowers were designed by Jennie Love at Love ‘n Fresh flowers. I love that she grows all her own local flowers on her farm and creates such unique and breathtaking pieces. I still dream about my bouquet with all its beautiful texture and wonderful scent.
We also loved working with Emily Wren who shot the most gorgeous photos and was so fun and fit in seamlessly with our friends and family. The forecast had been calling for rain all week and then the day turned out perfectly sunny and warm.
We were so lucky to have friends and family coming from all over the world to be with us. It was the best day filled with delicious food, great music and lots and lots of love!
