From To Live. To Love. Photography…Today I’m sharing some mad Marfa goodness with y’all! This Bride and Ggroom were super trendy and were open to anything. I was blessed enough to photograph their day. My favorite moment was their first look at the Prada store in Marfa, such a beautiful moment.
From The Bride…In the Spring of 2012, I met Jonathan at the gym while we were both living in Houston. As simple as it gets, Jonathan approached me during my workout one day. Although I was intrigued by his cute smile, with some hesitation I politely declined his request for my phone number – instead I suggested we speak at the gym a few more times. Jonathan, knowing it was love at first sight, did not take no for answer and subsequently persuaded the front desk clerk at the gym to give him my last name so he could find me on Facebook. A little persistance and a few Facebook messages later, Jonathan met me and Flush, my dog, at the park. Following that first “hang out”, Jonathan and I quickly became inseparable and were soon on the road to falling in love. Fast forward a year later, we took a road trip to West Texas to visit family. During that trip we discovered the enchantment of an unknown West Texas town called Marfa. The small amount of time we spent in Marfa that weekend made a lasting impression on our relationship. When we got engaged in November of 2013, it was a no brainer that Marfa would be the perfect destination to say their vows.
Out wedding was the perfect modern, chic West Texas affair we wanted. With gold cactus accents, vibrant florals, rose gold shoes, and a glitter glam atmosphere our black tie affair ended with a glow stick exit.
