Romantic Amalfi Coast Elopement Inspiration

As time goes on, I'm drawn to neutrals more and more. And so I've hit the inspiration jackpot with this shoot, full of gorgeous grays, golds and tans, with the perfect touch of blush. Alicia Swedenborg and Melissa Schollaert captured the romance of the Amalfi Coast with this elopement inspired shoot and it has me not only pinning every single photo but also adding a new destination to my honeymoon wish list.

From Melissa Schollaert... Sea breezes, cobblestone streets, a flowing dress, a couple in love and a getaway on a vespa! Our sweet Italian couple strolled through the tiny streets of this quaint town in the hills above the sea, holding hands, whispering sweet words in each other's ears and smiling all the way. We created several different looks with gowns from Chaviano Couture as well as gorgeous headpieces and veils from Jannie Baltzer.

The Amalfi Coast is known for its fresh lemons, so we picked up some limoncello from a local artisan who makes the liquor from scratch from his lemons. For favors, it is a tradition in Italy to send your guests off with jordan almonds - five of them to be exact. Each of the almonds signify five wishes for the bride and groom: health, wealth, happiness, fertility, and longevity. We created little bags for each guest which read "Oggi Sposi" (Just Married!) in gold to match the almonds.

The couple raced off on their vespa into the sunset and on to their private dinner overlooking the beautiful hills of the coastline which faded off into the sea. Amore!
