Enchanting Oregon Wilderness Engagement Session

Have you ever kissed in the rain? It’s a magical, magical thing. Case in point: this rainy romance set in an undeniably enchanting scene that is the Pacific Northwest wilderness. A wild bunching of blooms from Ponderosa & Thyme was held by the Bride-to-be, while Ivy & Gold snapped every captivating moment between these two lovebirds. See it all here!

From Ivy and GoldTaking in the stunning wilderness of the Pacific Northwest, it’s hard not to be inspired. Doing so with a couple like Hannah & Zach, who are so genuinely and sweetly in love, it’s IMPOSSIBLE not to be inspired. The beauty was overwhelming.

We loved getting to explore the Oregon forest and riverside with these two. As natives to the Pacific Northwest, it was only fitting that it was (unexpectedly, but not surprisingly,) raining, throughout the entire shoot. Zach and Hannah didn’t seem to mind, though, and their honest love for each other shone through the drizzle. We used both film, and digital photography to capture the organic feel of this session.

From the Bride-to-Be…Zach and I met in January of 2011 through mutual friends. But it wasn’t until the following summer we saw each other again and really began our friendship. It didn’t take long for either of us to realize we had feelings for each other and over the next year and a half we became really close friends. On October 26th, 2013 we began our relationship as a couple. And 8 months later, on my birthday, Zach asked me to marry him. Of course, I said YES!

Zach & Hannah will be married in February, at Oakview Acres in Canby, Oregon.
