Romantic Wedding Film on Whidbey Island

I hope you don’t have much you need to get done today because it’s all about to be tossed out the window as soon as you dive into this romantic video. Luminance Wedding Films captured an absolute love story, a true tearjerker, shot on Seattle’s beautiful Whidbey Island. It’s going to take awhile for me to regain my composure so I highly recommend you have some tissues nearby; you can’t say I didn’t warn you.

From Luminance Wedding Films… If I had it to do all over again, this is what my wedding would have looked like! Oh my, what an absolutely amazing idea and a stunning location to boot! April and Karl decided on having a destination wedding, inviting an intimate number of family members and very close friends to witness their heart warming exchange of vows and celebrate in this new chapter of their lives. They chose the adorable Quintessa on Whidbey Island just across Seattle via a Ferry Ride through the Puget Sound. This wedding was a true do-it-yourselfer. The wooden signs were created by the bride and groom, the bent forks as place cards were melted by a special friend, all the vases and candles were set out by the couples family, I even watched the bride sprinkler tiny white flower petals down the sides of the aisle. It was truly spectacular. The Quintessa did not disappoint either. Lush gardens abound everywhere you looked. The property had a cute little private cottage for the bride to get ready in and served as a romantic getaway from the main house for the couple. The main house was just as beautiful with stunning views of the water, floor to ceiling windows throughout and had enough bedrooms to comfortably sleep all of their out of town friends and family. The house was gorgeous lit up at night as well. There was not one possible bad place for a shot. Every angle, was glorious!! And of course this couple was beyond beautiful! All in all the day was perfect. A little bit of light rain in the morning and bright sun the rest of the day. To top it all off, this couple did what I had been longing for my couples to do for so long…they lit Chinese Lanterns. Ahhhhhh, finally! Three things I took away from this wedding 1.) have your wedding as a destination wedding on a lovely island 2.) surround yourselves by only your closest family and friends and 3.) celebrate all the love that you can contain for each other.
