Casual Hermosa Beach Engagement

When these SoCal cuties set out to plan their engagement session with Sylvie Gil, representing their fun-loving personalities was an absolute must. And with fresh flowers, pink bike and one adorable pup in tow they took to the Hermosa Beach Pier for casual date captured on camera. But it gets even better, because we've got their wedding on the SMP homepage coming up next!

From the Bride... The inspiration of our e-session was to be fun and lighthearted to reflect our playful relationship. As SoCal natives, we unequivocally chose to have our shoot at the beach with our beloved Shiba Inu that we've raised together. On the way to the shoot, we picked up some fresh flowers for our bike basket, which worked out beautifully! We had some crazy fun along the boardwalk with his skateboard and my colorful bike, which was a recent birthday gift from my now-husband. It was a complete blast working with Sylvie riding down the boardwalk, trying to pedal in heels and getting our puppy to cooperate! We were all laughing hysterically!

We found a lifeguard tower with the number 13, which was is also our wedding day, so it was meant to be. We moved to the pier and walked along the water, and just had a good time with the moving tide. All in all, the entire day was organic, a ton of fun and lots of laughter--exactly how it should be!
