Autumn in Paris: A Mini Guide

If there was ever a city that moved me to my very core, it would be Paris. And this gorgeous mini guide from Gert Huygaerts makes me realize I'm long overdue with another visit to the City of Light. Because when you pair a ridiculously photogenic city like Paris with an amazingly talented photographer like Gert - we are left with a gallery that will leave anyone with a serious case of wanderlust.
Gert Huygaerts...Having an editorial shoot in Paris for me is always a reason to spend more time in this wonderful and romantic city with so many faces. It's all about amazing buildings, lovely places, the most luxurious stores and also a lot of places where you can find peace to reflect and find yourself again.
Some of the places I went to see were some of the lovely gardens Paris has to offer. From smaller, sometimes well hidden and very peaceful city-gardens to the magnificent Jardin de Tuileries at the Avenue des Champs-Elysées, one of the most luxurious shopping streets on the planet.
On the Champs Elysées I had a mission... had to do some shopping for my girlfriend, who is a make-up artist, at Guerlain . Being one of the most prestigious make-up brands, this is like heaven for her! After facing all the perfumes and make-up, I rewarded myself with a sweet lunch at Ladurée, world-famous for their amazing macarons.
After having something for my sweet tooth, I went out for a walk through some lovely streets and along the Seine. Also a place to enjoy the silence and listen to the water... come to pace with yourself!Visiting paris without seeing the Eiffel Tower is a no-go... so that was for me a must-do again. Even after seeing it so many times, I still don't regret it. Paris, a city that never sleeps and never gets boring.
