From Karen Hill Photography…Gretchen and Will were introduced by mutual friends while they were living in Boston. They were invited over for pizza and wine, and the rest, Gretchen says, is history!
Their wedding was celebrated in the brides hometown of Greenwich, CT with friends and family in attendance. Gretchen’s heart was set on getting married in a place that was very near and dear to her family. Having moved many times with her family, around the world for her father’s work, Greenwich has always felt most like home. The bride and bridal party dressed at Gretchen’s family home and the couple was married in the Bride’s church, First Presbyterian Church in Greenwich, CT. The reception was held at the beautiful Blind Brook Club. Established in 1915, this is the first wedding that the prestigious club has hosted and it was perfect. The tent and the decor were lovely.
It was a joyous day, filled with beauty and smiles. Though their wedding in April was unseasonably cold, we managed a few outdoor photos but the gorgeous tent with it’s floral draped chandeliers made it feel more like a warm spring day.
Gretchen says, “Our wedding day was filled with so much love and joy from start to finish. To look around and see all our loved ones in one place, dancing up a storm–it was nothing short of magical!”
