From La Fête Weddings... This lovely couple from Texas was looking for a beautifully planned and detailed wedding for 10 special guests at the San Ysidro Ranch. We know there is nothing better than a client who completely trusts you, so when Misti told us “Here are the colors I love, and I completely trust that you will make our wedding classic and beautiful,” we were thrilled! The wedding ceremony was held outdoors on New Year's Day in the Wine Cellar Garden in front of their romantic fireplace. The guests enjoyed a few cocktails and hors d'oeuvres before entering the Wine Cellar for their seated wedding reception. Of course the weather was a concern for the day, but it could not have been a more perfect Southern California day. The Wine Cellar at the San Ysidro Ranch is such a warm and inviting space especially during that time of year.
Misti included her two daughters in the wedding as her bridesmaids. What a special moment it was to watch them walk her down the aisle to her groom Michael. We worked with Amy of Ambient Event Design to create the lush and organic mixture of red peonies, garden roses, and accents of greenery to develop Misti's rich dream color palette. Misti loved the flower arrangements so much she decided to take all of the arrangements back to her cottage at the San Ysidro Ranch to enjoy them for rest of the week. Colette from La Fete Weddings provided the dishes and red colored glassware, which were passed down by her grandmother. This added a unique touch to the table top design. We worked with Let's Party to create custom menus for each place setting to complete the look. Melissa Musgrove perfectly captured all of their love, joy and the beautiful details that made that day so unique and special for them.
Shortly after the wedding we received a very nice email from the groom..."I must admit I was a bit reluctant to hire a planner because the wedding was small in relation to head count. What I figured out though was what you did with our wedding is no matter how big or small there is still a lot to pulling them off problem free. You did a wonderful job and it greatly helped with Misti’s stress load.”
