Any bride who gives her wedding a big ol’ dose of pink is a bride after my own heart. And from the florals by Orchid ‘N Blooms to the bridesmaids’ dresses in the prettiest shade, there’s no shortage of pink moments to make me stop and swoon. The always fabulous Emily Delamater snapped of gallery of lovely images, and they’re all waiting right this way.
From Emily Delamater… Karen knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding, clean bright and classic with pink and gold details. As most of Hoong’s family was coming from Malaysia for the wedding, it was a perfect opportunity for the couple to introduce his family to New England and the Blithewold Mansion made for an idilic backdrop. The sprawling grounds and gardens were in full bloom surrounding them during the ceremony in the sunken garden.
Karen also used vintage books and international letter boxes to decorate accent tables. The flowers included a gorgeous mix of lambs ear, garden and David Austin Roses, pink and white Peonies, Astilbe and also air plants. I loved that was also a playful sense to the day with signature lemonades and large pink and white balloons decorated with gold and white streamers. It was a gorgeous and intimate event and such a treat to photograph.
