A trip to the Amalfi coast in and of itself is a dream. But when you throw in a shoot impeccably styled by Joy Proctor Design, snapped up to perfection by Sandra Åberg, the result is beyond breathtaking—and it’s the latest gorgeousness from their Moda E Arte workshop. From the flawlessly lettered invitations by Julie Song Ink to the vibrant florals (à la Joy Proctor), it’s all sitting pretty right here in the gallery.

From Sandra Aberg…For the Fall 2015 edition of the Moda e Arte Workshop, we were fortunate to get the chance to shoot at the oldest church ruin on the entire Amalfi Coast, known as the ruins of the Basilica di Sant’Eustachio just below the mountain top town of Scala. We were inspired by the marble columns and stone windows and the iconic vistas that are the Amalfi Coast. In our minds we saw a girl waiting for her lover within the ancient ruins. She gathers flowers as she waits, and adorns herself with a crown of candles.
To draw attention to the fashion and wedding combination Joy Proctor selected two gorgeous gowns to contrast with the rawness of the ruins. The backless Inbal Dror dress went perfectly with Jannie Baltzer’s Tilda headpiece. A white Delphine Manivet gown was chosen for the second look. The flowing movement in the oh so delicate fabric of the dress contrasted nicely with the imposing stone ruins of the church. In terms of color, we used a sultry combination of pinks and deep reds to bring in a feeling of passion and romance.
