Summer Engagement Shoot at Woodbine Beach

Engagement shoots get me all excited. Two people, newly engaged, starting off the wedding planning adventure and documenting it all with some special photos: what's more precious than that? This beautiful beachside shoot, by Whitney Heard, put me in the most romantic of moods and as I dive into my own wedding planning to do list, I'll be thinking of these lovebirds doing the same.

From Whitney Heard... Newly engaged Jake and Paige took a breathtaking stroll near the water. Walking the beach in the summertime heat became the backdrop for this romantic shoot, with waves crashing against the rocks, the sea brushing up against the sand, there are many signs of passion. While walking down the beach, Paige and Jake held each other and looked out to the water, wondering what their bright future holds. A soft subtle palette of ivory, soft blue, gray and khaki, mixed with natural textures and delicate details compliments the theme of innocence and the beginning of their marriage. This intimate and sincere shoot captures the real essence of passion and excitement of a new future together.
