Springtime Wedding on Hilton Head Island
I like to think of Hilton Head Island as my secret vacation spot. It has beautiful beaches, great golfing and stunning scenery but it's not overly touristy. This wedding by Spencer Special Events captured the low country vibe perfectly and didn't try to compete with the Island's natural beauty. And while it's my hidden gem, I'll share all these beautiful pics by Erin Sage, because well, they're just too pretty to not.
From Libby O Marketing... Becca and Jon were married in May 2014 in a beautiful ceremony under the Liberty Oak Tree in Sea Pines Plantation on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The 300+ year old Liberty Oak was a stunning and special Lowcountry venue under which to exchange vows, with the 200 guests overlooking the iconic red and white striped Harbour Town Lighthouse.
Becca looked stunning in a form-fitting gown, her bridesmaids wore beautiful shades of robins egg blue and carried varying hues of pink flowers. It was a soft and romantic look. The groom and groomsmen wore khaki suits, which contributed to the overall soft and romantic look.
Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the lawn of the 18th green of Harbour Town Links golf course, which was custom designed with living room furniture, patricians, and set up with cafe lights for under the stars - all to give it a polished look and elevating the outdoor tent experience.
Inside the custom draped tent, Spencer Special Events touched upon rustic elegance. Beautiful, rustic lanterns hung from the ceiling. With custom farm tables, specialty made linens, gold mercury class votive candles, and exquisite centerpieces, this was truly a spectacular display inside.
