Chic Connecticut Estate Wedding
When this BHLDN Bride and her Ralph Lauren clad Groom chose a venue, they didn't have to look very far. Significance surrounded by beauty, this lovely couple wed at the Groom's childhood estate with Michelle Lange behind the lens. From the bespoke blooms by Jo Hansen, to the catered meal by Joseph Yorio, every detail was outlined by Great Beginnings Events, and you can see it all here!
From Michelle Lange...This private residence wedding in Newtown Connecticut, the bride wore a beautiful lace BHLDN gown and was surrounded by her 14 bridesmaids in their choice of a lace ivory dress. The groom and groomsmen wore Ralph Lauren suits which perfectly complimented the ladies. Hydrangea bouquets were carried by the bride and bridesmaids. Arrangements of fresh cut flowers accented the tables.
From The Bride... We were very fortunate to have our wedding where my husband grew up. It was always a special place to him which in part, became special to me. Since it is an old turkey farm, we wanted to keep the theme of the wedding rustic but elegant.
I have always been inspired by a white bridal party and wanted to do something along those lines. Once I found my dress, I knew I wanted the bridesmaids to compliment the lace detail.
My favorite moment of our wedding was when the two of us where on the bridge by ourselves able to look into the tent and see everything come together and know that people were having fun! Details that made our wedding day special was the setting, people that where there, and all the hard work that our vendors put in to make it awesome!
